The Executive Council (EC) consists of elected and appointed officers who meet weekly to discuss issues at Whitman and how to communicate with the administration on behalf of students. Every member of EC spearheads individual projects and participates in multiple committees.

The Senate acts as ASWC’s collective voice by creating, debating, and voting on legislation, setting and approving the ASWC budget, deciding whether to fund requests, and generally advocating for change at Whitman College.
